The 2002 Septathalon is over, and despite some shocking individual event results, the overall scores were not a surprise.
The full results are not yet available due to computer problems and wedding stuff, but look for them to start appearing after the first week of August. Photos should be online shortly after that.
In any case, this has been our biggest and best Septathalon yet. 2003 could be even better, but the real news is the plans for the 8th Annual MAD FIGS Septathalon (2006):
SEPTATHALON IN EUROPE
Seven days, seven counties, seven Septathalon events. It fits together perfectly. While it could be expensive, this may prove to be the most exciting competition ever. The 2006 World Cup will also be in Germany, providing an additional incentive to participate. Start saving up now, $100 a month should be plenty!
